Mr. Gregory Clarkes
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Clarkes is a financier with over 30 years’ experience in raising capital for private and public companies in the resource, industrial, entertainment and technology sectors. He has been a major shareholder, as well as an officer and director, of many companies and has been instrumental in helping them formulate business plans and strategies resulting in successful utilization of their financial resources.
He was the founder, director, and significant shareholder of Skye Resources Inc., which was sold to HudBay Minerals Inc. in 2008 for $460 million.
Mr. Gordon Driedger
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Driedger is an award winning professional engineer with 35 years’ experience in design, management, and construction of a diverse spectrum of industrial, institutional and civil projects including 20 years as founder/ owner/ manager of SILCO, an EPC firm; 10 years as VP, Project Delivery with Plenary Group, a leading North American developer of infrastructure utilizing public private partnerships; and 5 years in the role of Director, Project Management Office, University of Alberta, overseeing the University’s $2 billion capital program. He has successfully completed over 70 major capital projects to date.
Mr. Driedger has a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle including engineering, financing, construction, commissioning and start-up. His extensive EPC experience also covers project risks and management, project governance/best practices and ethical tendering .
Mr. George Davidson
Mr. Davidson studied civil engineering at the University of Western Ontario prior to a 35 year career which includes extensive experience in major construction projects as a site engineer, estimator, project manager and president in both Canadian and North African multi-million dollar projects.
More recently, after obtaining his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Mr. Davidson was VP Operations for a major North American supply chain company; has led the acquisitions team for both private and public companies; and led multi-million dollar commercial and industrial construction projects through planning, engineering design and implementation, with emphasis on oil re-refining and product enhancement projects.
Mr. Rick Low
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Low has over 20 years of progressive management experience in various industries in Canada and in international markets. He has held both CFO and Board Member positions in various public companies in industries such as mining, manufacturing, and service, with a focus on debt financing and financial policy.
Mr. Low graduated with a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia, and is a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) with the Chartered Professional Accountants of B.C.
Mr. Grant Brown
Mr. Brown is an experienced debt & equity capital markets professional, having over 18 years’ experience with focus on complex cross-border public market and private M&A, principal investment, strategic corporate advisory and equity and debt financing across a range of industry sectors and jurisdictions. Through his career, he has lead large multidisciplinary teams, building valuable partnerships and creating significant value for clients and shareholders in advising on over $40 billion of transactions.
Previously, Mr. Brown lead the M&A practice of Canaccord Genuity in Australia and was also Managing Director at Macquarie Capital and at JPMorgan.
Mr. Brown holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Melbourne.
Mr. Keith Driver
Mr. Driver has served in leadership positions in several environmental technology companies over the past 15 yrs. His experience includes senior environmental, marketing, technical and management roles, focused on emerging products or technologies. Many of these opportunities have focused on developing first-of-its-kind facilities for processing undervalued feedstocks and marketing the end-products.
Mr. Driver holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in environmental engineering from the University of Guelph and an MBA from the University of Calgary.
Mr. Zac Moore
Mr. Moore is an intelligent and detail oriented project engineer with valuable on-site field experience managing engineering, procurement and construction projects with a premier contractor in the energy sector. A team player, he is driven to achieve and excels when working in a team environment; demonstrating leadership to assist in successfully resolving complex issues. He has spent considerable time working on remote sites in the Canadian oil sands constructing and commissioning billion-dollar facilities for world-class oil producers. Mr. Moore received his engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario and he is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
